No contract, ever
No multi-year lock-in, no auto-renewal, no early-termination fee. A perpetual license you own. Stop using it whenever you like; there is no switch we can flip.
NexusCMD POS
A complete POS that runs on a computer inside your restaurant and keeps serving with the internet unplugged. It syncs to a database you own, takes no cut of your sales, and locks you into nothing. Buy it once.
What it will not do to you
We researched what restaurant owners actually reject about Toast, Square, Clover, Lightspeed, and the rest, and built the POS that does none of it. These are not marketing lines; each one is how the software is put together.
No multi-year lock-in, no auto-renewal, no early-termination fee. A perpetual license you own. Stop using it whenever you like; there is no switch we can flip.
Bring your own payment processor and keep the rate you negotiated. We take zero percent and add no markup. The processor is a setting, not a lock.
We will never add a surcharge a diner sees, not by default and not as an option we quietly enable. Your total is subtotal, discounts, tax, and tip. Nothing invented.
Run four terminals or forty on ordinary tablets you already own. No proprietary hardware to lease, and nothing that bricks when you leave.
Every check, item, payment, and timecard exports to CSV any time, with no request and no waiting. Sync to a database in your own name; we never hold a copy.
The restaurant computer is the source of truth, so a dropped internet connection never freezes a register. Orders, payments, kitchen, and printing all keep working.
What is inside
Table map, seat-aware ordering, forced modifiers, course firing, check splitting by seat or evenly to the exact penny, transfers, merges, bar tabs, and happy-hour pricing.
Tickets routed per station, one-touch bump and recall, all-day counts, and tickets that age from green to amber to red on their own so the pass reads the board at a glance.
Cash, card, gift, and house tenders. Split payments that always sum exactly. Blind cash-drawer closes. Comps and voids kept separate, because one is a loss and the other is cost.
Guest receipts, pre-payment bills, kitchen tickets, and reports to any network thermal printer, or to a tablet if you have none. Cash drawers pop through the printer.
Built around four questions: did we make money, is anything leaking, is anything broken, and what needs me. No wall of charts nobody opens twice.
Comps creeping up, food voided after firing, a short drawer, a printer down: the system flags it and hands it to a named person as a task, instead of leaving it in your head.
A pay-period export with regular and overtime hours split, pay rates, gross pay, and declared tips in plain dollars, ready to hand to ADP, Gusto, or Paychex.
Every fifteen minutes your day copies to a database of your choosing. Do not have one? A built-in wizard sizes your data and recommends options at your budget, several of them free.
Security is the point, not a feature
It never stores a card number, only a brand, a last four, and a processor token, keeping your PCI scope small. Staff sign in with hashed PINs, and every comp, void, refund, and drawer close is written to a tamper-evident audit log that proves what happened in a dispute. The entire system runs on the Node.js runtime with zero third-party software dependencies, so it cannot be compromised through a supply-chain attack. Nothing loads from the internet.
Pricing
A one-time license per location, priced against a three-year competitor bill that runs seventy-six to ninety thousand dollars, most of it payment processing you keep here. Tiers differ by how much of the setup we do with you and how long we support it, never by what the software can do. Every tier is the same complete product.

Where we are honest
This release is tuned for full-service and quick-service restaurants. Retail and other kinds of business are not supported yet.
Run cards on your processor's own terminal, or connect one through a small reference integration we ship. Nothing here is PCI-certified; that is a deliberate stance, and we will say so every time.
You own the computer it runs on, the backups, and the wifi. That is the trade for owing us nothing monthly and depending on no cloud, and we give you the tools to run it well.
See it on your own menu
Book a walkthrough and we will run your real floor and a few of your dishes through it, answer the hard questions, and show you exactly what you would own.
