The game
You work at a coin laundromat with one plan: buy the place. Tap a station to send yourself there. Every bag goes from the counter to a washer, a dryer and the fold table, then waits on the shelf for its owner. Leave a load sitting and it goes musty or wrinkles; miss the time on a ticket and the bag is late.
Each day has a day shift (noon to 6 PM) and a night shift (6 PM to midnight). At first you work both, and you get tired and slower. Hire up to three helpers and schedule who works which shift. From week 2 you can hire a manager, then watch the shift in time-lapse, nap in the back room or go home.
Good service builds reputation: more customers, then contracts from a diner, a gym, a motel and a clinic. Spend on upgrades and a skill tree. In the quiet minutes there are side jobs: clean lint, mop spills, restock the snack machine, hand out flyers, three goals a day, and five regulars with stories of their own.
After four weeks the owner names the price: $11,000. Have the cash and the laundromat is yours. Your best five careers are kept on this device.
